Odisha Govt To Set Up Courts To Expedite Pending Promotions
Bhubaneswar: Soon after the promotion of as many as 3,166 employees from 39 departments and 30 districts during the last week of December 2019, the State Government has decided to set up Promotion Court (Padonnati Adalat) to expedite pending promotions.
While Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed different departments to stick to the 5T model of governance and clear pending promotions of employees by December 31, 2019, promotions of many employees remain stuck due to various reasons.
