Engineers, Contractor Arrested For Misappropriation Of Over Rs 43 Lakh
Seven persons including five engineers, an accounts officer and a contractor was arrested by State Vigilance on Thursday on charges of misappropriation of Government money amounting to Rs 43,16,044.
It had been alleged that the above mentioned government money had been misappropriated during construction of bridge over Taladanda Canal near Nayabazar, Cuttack during the year 2014-15 to 2018-19. A case regarding this had been registered at Cuttack Vigilance Police Station on December 10, 2019.
