7 Killed As Bus Skids Off Bridge In Ganjam

Berhampur: As many as seven passengers were killed and around 30 others critically injured after a bus skidded off a bridge near Taptapani Ghati in Ganjam district in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Reportedly, the bus on its way from Rayagada to Berhampur had halted near Luhagudi for a tea break at around 3 AM. Few minutes after leaving the spot the bus allegedly had a brake failure. Subsequently, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it skidded off the bridge and overturned.
