Odisha: Tiger 'Mahavir' Found Dead In Satkosia
Angul: Close on the heels of Tigress ‘Sundari’ tension in the State, a new incident has shook the denizens as Royal Bengal male tiger 'Mahavir' was found dead in the core area of Satkosia Tiger Reserve here last night.
"The incident occurred 500 meters from Raiguda to Nuagada forest road inside the Nuagarh Reserve Forest of Athagarh forest division which has been proposed to be included in Satkosia Tiger Reserve," informed a press release issued by Satkosia Tiger Reserve.
Three-year-old Mahavir, who was brought from Kanha Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh under the first inter-state tiger relocation in the country, had sustained injuries on the neck stated reports.
