4-Month-Pregnant Woman Dies Under Mysterious Condition In Bhubaneswar, Family Alleges Dowry Death
Bhubaneswar: A 4-month-pregnant woman living near Airfield Police Station here died under mysterious condition on Monday night. According to her family members, she was tortured mentally and physically for dowry since the day she was married. They suspect it to be a dowry death.
26-yr-old Silpi Das had married Subir Jena in December 2017. According to an FIR lodged at the Airfield Police Station by her mother, her daughter was tortured by her husband, mother-in-law Pratima , their landlord Rajnikanta and landlady Anu for dowry for the last eight months.
