Man Allegedly Implicated In False Case By Police In Balasore | Odisha News
Balasore: A man has been falsely implicated in a false case by Soro Police alleged family members as on the date of the crime the accused was behind bars.
Reportedly, some miscreants had snatched a bag containing cash from a finance company employee at Bidu Chhak under Soro police limits on May 23, 2019. Based on the complaint of the victim, Soro Police registered a case and arrested Ranjit Nayak (20) of Chintamanipada village in this connection.
However, family members have questioned the move of police as Ranjit was undergoing jail term in another case on the date of the loot.
They informed that Ranjit had been arrested earlier on January 19, 2019, in connection with a case registered at Khaira Police Station. He had been lodged at Soro Sub Jail and released on bail on August 2, 2019.
